Ceramic Structures.
The course I choose was 'Ceramic Structures conducted by Astha Malu'.
(medium: stoneware clay)
Day 1:
Introduction to the pinching technique. Added humans, trees, ants, insects, etc. to know the scale of the pieces.
Prompt- To make non-functional pieces using the pinching technique. And some textures use organic forms.
Day2:
Introduction to the coiling technique. Added humans, trees, ants, insects, etc. to know the scale of the pieces.
Prompt- To make non-functional pieces using the coiling and pinching technique.
Day3:
Introduction to slab-making technique. Added humans, trees, ants, insects, etc. to know the scale of the pieces.
Prompt- To make non-functional pieces using all the techniques thought. Such that it blends in naturally. Given a tile of a certain size and was told to create spaces with the clay.
